Vocal Class - Vocal Theory Laboratory

The vocal theory laboratory is a course you explore and develop the essential singing foundations. We have 3 labs which are: Basic Theory Lab, Intermediate Theory Lab and Advanced Theory Lab. Each lab has 12 lessons. You can learn by joining a group lab or as an individual.

Attending each lab will help you achieve relative pitch which enables you to do sight singing thus improved your pitching, timing, hearing and rhythmic sense. Having sight singing abilities will also enhanced your concentration on improving vocal technique and skill. In addition, having theory knowledge will also help you to play an instrument or aid in music composing. Topics to be absorbed are musical terms, keyboard knowledge, beat counting with rhythm/beat, solfege drill exercise, solfege singing exercise, eight note, music scale, introduction to chords and induction to basic harmony singing.
